About the Director
Carolyn Bognar is a registered teacher with and an associate(A.R.A.D.) of the Royal Academy of Dance, London, England. Following a professional career in Germany and Israel, Ms. Bognar founded the Ballett und Tanz Akademie in Marburg, Germany and was its director for 16 years. For the six years prior to founding the Texas Academy of Ballet in January 2007, she was freelance teaching for various schools of dance in the San Francisco Bay Area in California.
