Sonja Snow
Sonja was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sonja attended West Texas A&M University on scholarship, while dancing with Lone Star Ballet Company, and spent summers performing “Texas”. After receiving her B.F.A. in dance, she performed with the New Mexico Ballet Company. Following marriage Sonja and her husband moved to Las Vegas, where she danced in “Tournament of Kings” at the Excalibur, “Celebration Lounge” at the Tropicana, and most recently she danced for three years for” Siegfried and Roy.” While dancing in Las Vegas, Sonja taught Ballet and Jazz at a local studio. Sonja now devotes her time to her husband and little girl, Scarlet. Sonja joined Texas Academy of Ballet staff in the fall of 2007, and we are glad to have such a talented teacher/choreographer on our staff. |
